Waynetown- Mrs. Rhoda Ann Johnson, 88, of North of Crawfordsville, died at 8:45 a.m. Thursday in Culver Hospital at that city. She had been ill since Dec 23, 1967 and had entered the hospital Wednesday afternoon. A daughter of David > and Matilda Deckard Hayse, she was born Jan. 22, 1880 in Monroe County. She married O.S. Johnson in Brown County on March 20, 1895. He died July 3, 1964. Mrs Johnson was a member of the Waynetown Baptist Church and Delta Alpha Class. They had moved to the Romney area in 1918 and since 1940 had lived near Crawfordsville. Survivors include three sons, Bruce of Lafayette and Paul B. and Bryce of Indianapolis; two daughters, Mrs. Rex Murray of Idaville and Mrs Roger Lincoln of Winamac; 19 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren; two brothers, John L. Hayse of Bloomington and Charles of Indianapolis, and a sister, Mrs. Agnes Wooden of Bloomington. Funeral rites are set for 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Servies-Thomas Funeral Home with Rev. Guy E. Tremaine officiating and burial in Elmwood Cemetery at Romney. Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 o.m. Saturday. -  kbz
